Mrs. Mary Ruden, 55 of 3822 21st St. died at 3 yesterday afternoon at St.Joseph's Hospital after a 3 day Illness. She was born Mary Sodia/Sodja at Leadville, CO. on Oct.19,1900. She was married in Wyoming in 1923 to Roy Ruden, who survives her. They lived at Grand Junction Colorado, until 1940 whe they moved to Helper, Utah, where Mr. Ruden was employed in the coal mines. The family moved to Lewiston in 1947 and since that time Mr.Ruden has been employed as a logger for Potlatch forrests, Inc. in the Headquarters area. Mrs Ruden was a member of the Altar Society of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She is also survived by four sons, Joseph Ruden, Helper; daniel Ruden, Olympia, Wash.; Roy Ruden, U.S.Navy,Sna diego, and Samuel Ruden, Lewiston; six daughters, Mrs.Mary Palady, Lake Tahoes, Calif.;Mrs. Dorthy Perrero, Mapleton, Utah; Mrs.Diane Leffingwell, Seattle; Mrs Barbara Hoisington, Spokane;Mrs.Christine Williams and Theresa Ruden, both of Lewiston; 17 grand children and 1 great-grandchild. Rosary will be recited tonight at 8:15 at Vassar-Rawis Funeral Home and Mass will be Celebrated at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial will be at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens.
