Dorsey Edison Payne, a resident of Abbeville, died Friday morning, June 3, 2016, in a Dothan hospital. He was 60.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, June 5, 2016, in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East.
Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary.
Dorsey Payne was born in Atmore, Alabama, son of the late Dewey Edward Payne and Clare Belle Qualls Payne.
He moved to Abbeville about twenty years ago. Dorsey was a member of the Lakeside Christian Fellowship. He was employed by Anderson Construction Company in Ft. Gaines as a Project Superintendent.
