She was born in Lowell on Jan 18, 1926, a daughter of the late James and Ida (Briere) Cadorette. She had been employed by the former Educator Biscuit and at various shoe factories, including Paris Shoe of Lowell.
In addition to Mr. Savard, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Rita M. "Snook" and George Hood of Lowell, Jane M. and Edward Tibbetts of Stoneham and Rosemary G. "Rose" and William Thompson of Lowell; two sonds and daughters-in-law, Maurice A. and Diane Savard of Lowell and Dennis and Dianne Savard of Lowell, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo and Emy Cadorette in Arizona and William and Marilyn Cadorette of Dracut; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Pearl Gagnon of Lowell and Claire and Ronald Wall in New Jersey; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews and cousins. She was also the sister of the late James and John Cadorette and Lillian Allard.
THUOT - Died June 28, Rita M. (Cadorette) (Savard) Thuot, 74, widow of Gaston Thuot, a Lowell resident. Friends may call at the McKenna-Ouelette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street from 3 to 5 pm on Friday. Funeral Saturday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 o'clock at St. Louis de France Church. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
