Lawton - CURTIS D. McGEE, 47, of Lawton, passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, in OU Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Shelley Coulter officiating. Burial will be under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home in Lawton.
Curtis was born May 19, 1959, in Duncan, to Richard and Jeannie McGee.
He graduated from Duncan High School in 1977 and went on to graduate from OBU in Shawnee in 1981. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Duncan.
He was employed as a mental health technician at Park Point Group Home in Lawton. He was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Sue McGee and companion Dylan Ballard of Moore; his mother, Jeannie McGee of Marlow; an ex-wife and best friend, Julie McGee of Lawton; a brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Shelly McGee of Marlow; a sister-in-law, Jana O'Malley of Lawton; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Pam Shelton of Yukon; an aunt, Linda Provence of Edmond; four nephews, three nieces and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard McGee.
Bearers will be Mike O'Malley, James Young, Shadrick Large, Rick Belcher, Robert Rush and Kirk Houghton.
Honorary bearer is Johnnie Hall.
