Mr. Cyr, 76, of 302 East N St., Yakima, came to the Yakima Valley in the early 1900s and had been a Yakima resident since 1937.
He was born in Argyle, Minn.
Prior to retirement Mr. Cyr had been head mechanic for Nash Auto Company in Yakima.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a former member of Yakima Elks lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Millie Cyr of Yakima; a son, Frank Jr. of Gig Harbor; two stepsons, Mike Bezzio of Richland and Paul Bezzio of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; a brother, Ted of Grandview; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
