Elisha Cornelius Parker is believed to be the child of James Marcus Parker and either Nancy Howell or Mary Caroline Little. Marriage records show Mark and Nancy having married 7 Jan 1855. Nancy may have died as a result of his birth as Mark then married Mary Caroline Little 13 Mar 1856. The birth date on Elisha's marker and death certificate are the same, his mother is listed only as Little. Elisha Cornelius appears to have been named after Mark and Caroline's fathers, James Elisha Parker and Cornelius "Neal" Little. Mark and Caroline are believed to have had at least three more children, Leroy, Sara, and Zula Katherine. Burial locations and date of deaths for Mark, Nancy and Mary Caroline are unknown to me at this time.

Mark married Hanna A. Haley 15 Apr 1876 and they had one boy, Oscar Jesse, memorial #16377962. After Hanna's death Mark again married, this time to Margarett Stuckey 10 Dec 1879 and they had one child, Jeams Enoch Parker, my grandfather, Memorial #16377886.

Elisha is the grandson of James Elisha Parker memorial #145384023 and Sarah Gordon memorial #144368287. Caroline's parents are believed to be Cornelius Little and Mary McNair.
