BELCHER. George ``Douglas'' Belcher, 72, of 206 River Road, Willington, died Sunday (Sept. 4, 1994) at his home. He was born in Stafford Springs, educated in the local schools, and was a co-owner of Belcher's Dairy, Staffordville, for 30 years. He retired from the State of Connecticut, Signs and Lines Department, after 15 years of service. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and a resident of Willington for the past 45 years. Doug and his beloved wife, Mary N. (DeCicco) Belcher, celebrate d their 48th wedding anniversary, May 18, 1994. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lee and Donald R. Pallanck of Stafford Springs; two grandsons and their wives, Donald R. and Kristen R. Pallanck of Willington, David J. and Marcie J. Pallanck of Stafford Springs; two brothers and a sister in Staffordville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service is Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, with burial in Willington Hills Cemetery.
