Opal was born to James Robert McCoy and Cathleen Marie (Guntharp) McCoy on June 20, 1939, and married Glen E. Bridgman on June 8, 1958. Together they had four sons.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Vernon "Mac" McCoy. She is survived by her special companion, as well as two sisters, three brothers, and six grandchildren.
