The 1920 Census shows that Elliott W. Thompson, age 76, widower, born in Kentucky (as were his parents), Dora F. Thompson, age 34, daughter, single, were living at 815 Broadway Street (near Webster St.) in Chillicothe, Livingston County, Missouri.
The website USGENWEB lists that Elliott W. Thompson is buried at Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe, Missouri and his date of death is Nov. 5, 1921.
Elliott Thompson's brother writes that Elliott W. Thompson was from Barren County, Kentucky and died in Livingston County, Missouri.
In Oct. 2006, a volunteer stated that no dates were visible by Elliott W. Thompson's name on his headstone but, military info shows, "Co. E. 6 KY. Mtd. Inf., C.S.A." So, Elliott W. Thompson served in Company E, 6th Kentucky Mounted Infantry for the Confederacy during the Civil War.
