"Vivian Pickman, Hub Clubwoman.
Services for Mrs. Vivian Wessell Pickman, 71, Boston Symphony Orchesta and Metropolitan Opera patroness, will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Emmanuel Church, Back Bay.

Mrs. Pickman, widow of Atty. Dudley L. Pickman, Jr., died Tuesday at her home, 303 Commonwealth Ave., Back Bay.

Forn in New York, she was an actress and singer before World War I and kept an active interest in the arts both in Boston and New York, where she also maintained an apartment.

She was a member of the Somerset Club and Vincent Club.

She leaves a son, Alexander L. Cochrane of Lake Forest, Ill; and three daughters. Mrs. Nancy Wright of Darien Ct., Mrs. Winston F. C. Guest of Roslyn, N.Y., and Mrs. Charles Cameron of County Meath, Ireland."

Mrs. Vivian Pickman, 71, Hub Social Figure, Dies.

Mrs. Vivian (Wessell) Pickman, 73, of 303 Commonwealth ave., a prominent social figure, died suddenly last night. An actress and singer before World War I, she was the widow of Dudley L. Pickman, Jr., who dies last year.

Mrs. Pickman was a familiar figure at opening nights of the Metropolitan Opera Company and was a patroness of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

She is survived by four children by her first marriage to the late Alexander Lynde Cochrane. They are Mrs. Nancy Cochrane Wright of Darien, Conn.; Mrs. Winston F. C. Guest of Roslyn, N.Y.; Mrs. Charles Cameron of County Meath, Ireland, and Alexander L. Cochrane of Lake Forest, Ill. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Newbury st."
