Born in Wilmington to the late James F. & Edna Knotts McGrath, Doris was a 1943 graduate of P. S. duPont High School and worked as a clerk for 28 years at the Reading Railroad, Beech St. terminal until she retired in 1977.
Her beloved husband of 49 years, Alvin A. Cushing died in 1995. Aunt Doris, as she was affectionately known, is survived by her family including nieces & nephews, and also many friends.
