Gerald Earl Freeman, of Las Vegas, passed away May 21, 2016. He was born Feb. 24, 1930, in Driggs, Idaho. At the age of 13, he moved to Las Vegas with his parents, Dewey and Girtha, and two younger brothers, Kenneth and Joseph, all preceded him in death. At the age of 17, he married Eloisa Urtado and they had one daughter, Darlene. Gerald worked at the Titanum Metals Corp. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman and carpenter. Jerry is survived by his wife, of 68 years, Eloisa; daughter, Darlene Snyder; two grandsons, Darrin (Tara) and Derrick (Kim); and three great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
