Mrs. Georganna Cargain, widow of
James Henry Cargain, died on Nov.
24, 1951, at the home of her
daughter, Myrtle Odell, at Farmers
Mills, following a long illness.
Her age was 89.
The deceased was a daughter of
Hosea and Pamelia Head and was born
at Mahopac Falls on Oct. 12, 1862
and lived at Mahopac Falls and
Baldwin Place most of her life,
spending the last seven years with
a son and daughter at Farmers
Mills. She was twice married.
Surviving are 8 children, Eugene
and Wilbur Blenis of Baldwin Place,
James Cargain and Mrs. Herbert
Odell of Farmers Mills, Mrs.
Gertrude Shay, Mrs. Charles Blenis,
Freeman and Silas Cargain; one
brother, James Head; and one sister,
Mrs. Elizabeth Smith.
Interment was made in the Presby-
terian cemetery at Mahopac Falls.
