Agnes V. Gentz, 98, of Franklin, formerly of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Ruth Hospice in West Allis, WI.
She was born in Pine River, WI, on August 16, 1916, the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (Barden) VanState. Agnes married Antone Orlowski; he preceded her in death in 1969. She later married John R. Gentz and he preceded her in death in 2011.
Agnes owned and operated her own Real Estate Business for many years.
While living in Kenosha she attended St. James Catholic Church. Agnes enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques and gardening.
She is survived by her two children, Patrick (Carolyn) Orlowski of Neillsville, WI, and Ann (Kent) Bieganski of Greenfield, WI; three step children, Steven (Karen) Gentz of Albuquerque, NM, Lena (Larry) Stephens of Albuquerque, NM, and Chris Gentz of Rio Rancho, NM; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Orlowski; and her four brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11th, at the Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately at All Saints Cemetery.
