James Stiles Maybee was the son of James Stiles and Annie Rebecca Maybee.
He married Alice May Dingman on May 1, 1945, in Palatine, New York. They
had one child during their marriage. James died on August 17, 1951, in
Alexandria, Virginia, at the age of 30.

A man tentatively identified by police as James S. Maybee, 31, who resided in Nelliston until two years ago, was found crushed to death yesterday under tons of steel in a gondola car at Alexandria. Va.
Inspector Russell Hawes of the Alexandria police said the man apparently had hitched a ride in the car and was killed when the cargo shifted.
He is survived by bis wife, the former Alice Dingman of Palatine Bridge.
