FRED KARL
Fred Karl, 80, of Route 1, Mishicot, died Saturday evening, June 23, at Two
Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot,
and 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. The Rev. Richard Allen will
officiate with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Karl was born March 6, 1904, at Norwalk, Wisconsin, son of the late Ferdinand
and Magdalena Rauner Karl. He married the former Christine Nesper on June 29,
1940, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. She preceded him in death
February 11, 1969. He farmed in The Town of Gibson. Mr. Karl was a member of Holy
Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot and the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include a son and a daughter-in-law, Donald and Beverly Karl of Route
1 Mishicot; a brother, Peter Karl of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Frances Hafeman
of Mishicot and three grandchildren, Lynn, Deanna and Kristine. He was preceded
in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday
evening. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
