On Monday morning, January 8, 1996, Georgia Vaughan
left this mortal body she had lived in for 87 years, and joyfully went to be with her lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She has left an indelible mark upon our church and upon many lives, in her service as a teacher, her involvement with missions, and from her fervant prayer life. The Lord blessed Antioch with this faithful servant who has now been ushered to a higher calling.
Although we will miss Georgia and her joyful, positive life, we will never forget her example of a true and faithful servant of our Lord.
Georgia, and her sons, Robert, Jr. and Eugene, were Charter members of Antioch. Her husband, Robert, also a member of Antioch, died in March 1986
The funeral service for Georgia will be held at 10:00 a.m,
Saturday, Jan. 13, at Antioch Christian Church. The interment will be at 3:00 p.m, in Higland Cemetary, Ashland, KS.
Viewing and visiting with the family will be available at Hillside Funeral Home-West, on Friday evening. The family has established a memorial with the Antioch Christian Church Missions Ministry.
We express our sincere sympathy to Georgia's family and
pray they will be comforted by the peace and love of God,
through our prayers.
