Ruth Ann Hibbler, 66, daughter of Joseph Elmer and Mary Louisa Westerman Cochran, was born Jan 14, 1940, at Raymondville. She died Oct. 28, 2006, at her home at Choctaw, Okla., after losing her battle with cancer.
She attended Raymondville Grade School and graduated in 1958 from Houston High School.
After graduation, she worked for Dick Ichord.
She married Jack Hibbler Feb. 6, 1960, at Raymondville. They had three children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Joseph Elmer Cochran Jr.
Surviving are her husband; children, Bobbie, Beverly and Brenda Hibbler of Choctaw; one sister, Mary Jo Wenger of St. Louis; and three grandchildren.
The body was cremated. Burial will be at a later date in the Allen Cemetery.
