J. Fennimore Douglas, 54, of Townsend, died Friday at his home after a six-month illness.
Funeral services will be at the home today afternoon at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Tilghman Smith, pastor of Townsend Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Townsend Cemetery.
Mr. Douglas is survived by his wife, Mrs. [Miriam Hutchison] Douglas, and a brother, Robert Douglas, Clayton. He was a charter member of the Townsend Volunteer Fire Company and the company chief at the time of his death.
