He was born Aug. 27, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo.,to Robert Marshal & Georgia Vaughan. He was a musician, and past president of the Rotary, Library Board Chairman, and the Hospital Foundation Board.

He is survived by sons, Phillip Dean of Carson City, and Jeremy Todd of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., a daughter, Erica Marshalle of San Francisco, granddaughters, Abigail Joy of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Megan Elizabeth and Amanda Rose of Carson City, a brother, Eugene Judson of Chicago, Ill. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Bethany Baptist Church in Boulder City. Boulder City Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
