WARLIN, Linda Lou (Fairchild) 62, of Springfield, Ohio went to be with the Lord peacefully at 1:35 p.m., October 31, 2006 with her Mother and Sister at her side holding her hands. She was born January 7, 1944 in Van Lear, Kentucky, the daughter of Mary Margaret (Sammons) Johnston of Dayton and the late Wilburn Fairchild. She is survived by her loving husband, Dan Warlin of 21 years. One son and one daughter, Michael (Maretta) Rose of Springfield, Teresa Lynn and the late Charles Stockert, of Springfield; grandchildren, Stacey Kay Green, Michael Rose, Jr., Shawna and Krystal Rose; great-granchildren, Jayden and Kamya.; one loving sister, Madonna Sue (Robert) Heidenreich of Troy; nieces, Gretchen (Mark) Kowlak of Troy, Gabriele (Jason) Chesko of Indianapolis, IN; nephews, Chris (Lisa) Heidenreich of Versailles, Erich (Chrisy) Heidenreich of Tipp City, Craig (Kellie) Heidenreich of Troy; great nephews, Andrew, Austin, Colton, Zachery, and Garrett Kowalak, Holden Chesko, Craig Jr., Cameron, Nicholas Ethan and Evan Heidenreich; great nieces, Lydia and Brittany Heidenreich, and Britteny Lecker. In addition to her father and son-in-law, Linda was preceded in death by her step-father, Verl Wayne Johnston. A special Thank You goes to Joyce Carver, Mara Cochran, Charlene Foster and Connie Riehle who stayed by her side and brought her comfort. She was employed by the International Truck and Engine Division of Navistar and was a member of United Auto Workers Local 402 since 1997, and most recently a member of UAW Local 6 where she has worked for two and a half years at International's Melrose, Illinois plant. Prior to 1997, Linda was the owner and operator of "Nana's Village Pizza" in Christiansburg for seven years. She was past Worthy Matron of the Olivet Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Linda was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars in Huber Heights 3283 for 30 years. She really enjoyed fishing with her mother and playing cards with her sister. She will be truly missed by her family and friends and will be remembered by all as a very loving and caring Wife, Daughter, Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, November 4, 2006, 10 a.m. at FISHER-CHENEY FUNERAL HOME, Troy. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, November 3, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Cancer Institute, 6116 Executive Boulevard, Room 3036A, Bethesda, Maryland 20892-8322. Interment will take place at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown.
