GERALDINE MARIE GEE-JACKSON was born in Lewiston, North Carolina on August 15, 1939 to Roosevelt Wilkins and the late Bernice M. Wilkins. On September 10, 2004, she departed this life to be with her mother, her sister, and her God.

Weep not for me nor wish me back. I am from my pain free in my savior's arms. That's where I long to be.

You watched for me beside my bed. Now I will watch for you, and when you reach the Golden Gate, I'll come and lead you through. —

Geri's Prayer
Geri received her early education in the Philadelphia School System and attended Blankenburg, Sulzberger, and Bok. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for thirty years eleven years of which, she served in management.
She was a wise, considerate, and generous woman who understood the needs, hopes, and desires of those who mattered most to her - her family and friends. She had an intense capacity to love that was built on trust, strength, and compassion. She faced life with dignity and death without despair. She was a gift to those who knew her well and a model to those who only knew her in passing.

She leaves behind to honor her memory and her commitment to family and friends: her husband, Edward Thomas Jackson; her sons, Larry and Charles Gee (Diana); her grandchildren, Charles Gee, III, and Kianna; her father and stepmother, Roosevelt and Clemethel Wilkins; her brother, James Nelson, Jr.; her aunts, Lee and Eva; her uncles, Bill, Earl, and Richard, and most beloved, Will Lee and his wife, Allean; her nieces, Kathy J. Willis, Renee Manon, Wendy Stanley, and great-nieces, Christine, Lillie, Ita, Tanika, Sade, and April; her nephews, James Nelson, III and Terry; her great nephew, Tysir; her stepsons, Edward and Britton Stewart; her sisters-in-law, Lois and Anita (David); and all of her other relatives by marriage, as well as her many family and friends.
