Born in Alabama in 1883, Mrs. Taylor came to Indian Territory in 1904 and spent the larger part of her life in the Haskell area. She had been a member of the Church of Christ for over 40 years and was very active in charitable work around Haskell.
Survivors include a son, Bud Taylor of Long Beach, California; a daughter, Mrs. L. E. Davis of Seminole; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. J. L. Stonecipher of Stockton, California.
Funeral arrangements remain incomplete, pending arrival of relatives from California and will be announced by the Dowdy Funeral Home of Haskell.

HASKELL (Special) — Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in the Haskell Church of Christ for Mrs. Mary T. "Mollie" Taylor, 71 year-old Haskell resident, who died Friday [sic] at her home after a short illness.
Reverend Mack Layton will officiate and burial will be held in Haskell Cemetery under the direction of the Dowdy Funeral Home of Haskell.
