John R. Foster, 49, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005, at Providence Living Center. He was born Sept. 7, 1955, in Concordia, the son of Paul and Betty Foster.
John attended public schools in Lawrence.
He was a great lover of music, the outdoors and his dogs.
Survivors include a brother, Steve Foster; and a sister, Cathy Crawford.
Mr. Foster will lie in state after 9 a.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Garden Chapel in Topeka Cemetery.
The family asks that any contributions be made to the recreation fund at Providence Living Center, 1112 S.E. Republican, Topeka, 66607.
