EMORY OSCAR FLOOK, well known retired farmer of Downsville, died at the Hartle Nursing Home, Williamsport, Tuesday evening of complications following an illness of several years, aged 76.
Born in Frederick County, he was the son of Martin and Laura (Shank) Flook. He spent his early life in Boonsboro, and moved to Downsville 50 years ago. He was a member of the Downsville Christian Church.
He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Helen Braden, Arlington, Va.; Mrs. Thomas Markey, Washington, DC; son, Ralph, Williamsport; brothers, John, Boonsboro; Fred, Sharpsburg; and five grandchildren.
The body was removed to the funeral home of A. K. Coffman where services will be held at 2 pm Friday by the Rev. Ezra Dunnavant. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, near Williamsport.
