Next to Travis Stidham-Mrs. Allie Irene Stidham, age 84, of Forrest City, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003.Mrs. Stidham was born Nov. 23, 1918, in Nauvoo, Ala., the daughter of John Heflin and Ida Meeks Heflin. She made her home in Forrest City for most of her life, was a housewife and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.Mrs. Stidham is survived by five daughters, Linnie Kimble of Colt, Betty Barkley of Palestine, Ann Vicks of Clarksville, Stella Blundell of Marion and Sylvia Cleaver of Forrest City; three sons, Travis Stidham of Wynne, and Troy Stidham and Edward Stidham both of Forrest City; one sister, Pauline Barabee, of Rosebud, Ga.; 40 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Annette Kimble in 1996 and a son Ottis Stidham.Visitation for Mrs. Stidham will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at 2 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church with burial following in Forrest Park Cemetery.
