Mrs. Harris was born August 19, 1927, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of Henry Corady Beasley and Ruby Clark Beasley. She lived in Forrest City most all of her life, was an employee of the Arkansas State Employment Division, and was a member of the Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Harris married Thomas Brooks Harris in 1952, and he preceded her in death in 1992. She is survived by one son, Thomas Grady Harris, and wife, Pam, of St. Louis, Missouri, two granddaughters; Allyson King, and husband, Charles, Rachel Zimmer, and husband, Chris, one grandson, James Harris, and five great-grandchildren; Oscar, Harris, Kyah, Milo, and Maverick, one nephew, Gary McGuire, and wife, Pam, of Bartlett, Tennessee.
Services for Mrs. Harris will be held Graveside, 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City. Visitation will be Wednesday, 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home until the time of the service. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
