AM. FORK MAN'S FATHER DIES IN SLC HOSPITAL
American Fork - Father of an American Fork resident, David O. Black, 63, died Saturday in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes.
He was born Oct. 19, 1904 in Fruitland, N.M., a son of John Morley and Thretta Elnora Cox Black. He married Mary D. Mangum on Nov. 27, 1927, in Blanding, San Juan County. They were later divorced.
He later married Lillian (Linnie) V. Webb on March 28, 1946 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survivors include a son, Roland T. Black of American Fork.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at noon at 36 E. 7th S., Salt Lake City. Burial was in the Riverton City Cemetery.
