Bill was a Systems Analyst with General Telephone for 28 years, before working for U.S. West in Denver CO for 8 years before retiring. Bill was also a professor at Ivy Tech for 12 years. He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran. During his time in the Air Force Bill was a softball pitcher for their Air Force Team. Bill was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, ping pong, racquetball and spending time with his family.
William was preceded in death by parents, William and Martha Gatton, first wife, Alice (Uecker) Gatton, brothers, Michael and Kevin Gatton.
