AAGESEN, Mary E. – Of Flint, age 90, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at McLaren-Lapeer.

Visitation 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Gary Koenigsknecht officiating.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Contributions may be directed to "the family wishes".

Mary was born in Flint, Michigan on February 19, 1926, the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Ogg) Zeiter.

She graduated from Grand Blanc High School.

Mary married Robert Aagesen on June 25, 1948 in Flint and he preceded her in death on July 2, 2005.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are three children, Joan E. (Bob) Fortune of Flint,
Jim (Karen) of Flint and
Janet (Jack) Ogg of Lapeer;

ten grandchildren, Jason (Christina) Fortune,
Melisa (Robert) Rogers,
Amy (John) Amer,
Andy (Jamie) Aagesen,
Josh (Jennifer) Aagesen, Justin (Laura) Fortune,
Kasey (Ryan) Fuller,
Stacey (Brent) Corbin,
Mary (Brandon) Stimson and Julie (Scott) Coulter;

25 great-grandchildren;
one great-great-grandson;

sister, Neva (Dorm) Polzin or Ontario, CA;
sister-in-law, Odile Aagesen of Burton;
many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Lois Ogg and brother, Jack Zeiter.
