Joyce Ann Chambers age 75, of the Ditney Trail Community, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

She was born March 27, 1941 in Scott County, Tennessee to the late Bailey and Orpha Chambers Carson.

She worked 25 years at the Scott County Hospital before retiring in the year 2000. She was a Member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and was passionate about visiting churches and singing in the Carson Family Gospel Group.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Garlie K. Day; Son Garlie Gene Day; (4) Brothers Kenneth Carson, James Carson, Walter Carson and Marshall Carson Sister: Patricia Ballard; Sisters-in-law: Atrice Carson and Brenda Zielman, and a special church friend, Betty Cross.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Kenneth Dean Chambers; Daughter Judy Ann Day of Huntsville, Tennessee; Daughter-in-law Sharion Day of Palmyra, Michigan; Grand children Christy Sexton and husband Chris of Allardt, Tennessee, Jamie Colter and husband Joe of Tecumseh, Michigan, Samantha Day and fiancé Ben Newsome of Milan, Michigan and Haley Crabtree and fianca Geoff Morgan of Huntsville, Tennessee; Great Grandchildren Christopher Gage Sexton, Gunner Kolt Morgan and Lyla Colter; Brothers: William Carson and wife Midge of the Dutch Valley Community, Obal Lee Carson of Knoxville, Tennessee; Sister Sarah Lawson and husband Robert of the Fairview Community, Brothers-in-law Danny Chambers and wife Sue of Stanford, Kentucky, Leonard Chambers and wife Carla of Burnside, Kentucky; Sisters-in-law Bobbie Ebders and husband John of Ohio, Irene Carson Chambers of Clinton, Tennessee, Nancy Carson of the Ditney Trail Community and Margaret Crutchfield and husband Driscol of Springfield, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation 4:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 7:00 P.M., Sunday Evening, June 12, 2016 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Carlie Duncan and Bro. Bobby Williams Officiating. Music will be provided by The Antioch Singers. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday Morning, June 13, 2016 in the Carson Family Cemetery in the Ditney Trail Community.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Carson, Darrin West, Kenny Carson, Junior Carson, Les Griffith, Chris Sexton and Geoff Morgan.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Jackie Patton.
