MRS JANE FULMER PASSES AWAY IN THE CITY

SHE WAS THE GRANDDAUGHTER OF MICHAEL ROSS THE FOUNDER OF WILLIAMSPORT

Mrs. Jane Walton Fulmer, widow of J Hyman Fulmer, after an illness lasting eight weeks, which began with an attack of pneumonia, passed away at her home, 457 Elmira Street on Friday morning. Mrs. Fulmer had been a lifelong resident of Williamsport and died at the age of 77/5/14.

She was conscious until the very end when she asked the nurse if there was any hope for her recovery. "You are very ill" was the reply. Mrs. Fulmer then proceeded to name the ministers she desired to officiate at her funeral, the text to be given and the pallbearers. The funeral will be held from the home of her sister in law Mrs. L G Huling, 414 W Edwin Street. Interment will be in Williamsport Cemetery.

Mrs. Fulmer's maiden name was Jane Walton Huling. She was a granddaughter of Michael Ross the founder of Williamsport. She was the sister of the late Mayor L G Huling whose death occurred a few years ago. Her mother Margaret R Huling was killed by a train 20 years ago at age 80. Mrs. Huling was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, a consistent Christian and had a host of friends who will sincerely mourn her loss. She is survived by two sons: James H Fulmer of Muncy and Ross Fulmer of this city and the following sisters and brother: Miss Sarah C Huling, this city, Mrs. J Henry Geise of Baltimore Maryland and William B Huling of Lock Haven.
