Athens, July 22- Mrs. Lillian Mae Griggs, 76, died at her home on Route 8, Athens, Sunday night.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Bertha Woodfin, Mrs. Ethel Stanford, Mrs. Racheal Young, Mrs. Freda Gordon, Mrs. Lucille Lavell, and Mrs. Vera Woodfin: two sons, Gilbert Griggs and Tommy Griggs, of Huntsville: 47 grandchildren: 61 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this morning at 11 a.m. at the First Church of Christ in Athens. Interment was in Leggtown cemetery, with Mutual-Service funeral home directing.
Pallbearers were Gordon Miller, Lermon Chapman, James McCormick, J.C. Stanford, Charlie Woodfin, and Willie G. Rogers.
