ALOIS KOLICEK
Alois Kolicek, 79, Mishicot business man, died early today at the Holy
Family hospital after a several weeks illness.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home
of Klein and Stangel, Inc., at Two Rivers and at 9:30 from the Holy Cross
Catholic church in Mishicot. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery.
Mr. Kolicek was born in Bohemia November 2, 1860. In 1880 he came to America
and directly to Wisconsin. He lived at Mishcot for the past 47 years where
he was a saddler.
Fifty-seven years ago he married Antoinette Semandel who survives him.
Other survivors are five daughters, Mrs. R. C. Hessel of Manitowoc, Mrs.
Robert Holehous of Milwaukee, Mrs. Henry Krumdick of Rockwood, Mrs. F. A.
Buese of Oak Park, Ill., Mrs. Joseph Holly of Shoto; two sons, Joseph and
Julius, both of this city; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A son Charles died in England in 1917 while serving in the United States
army in the World War.
The body may be viewed at Klein and Stangel, Inc., from this evening until
the time of the funeral Thursday.
