Gerald "Jerry" C. Brown, age 75 of Mayville, Michigan, passed away on June 10, 2016, at McLaren Lapeer Regional Hospital after having a stroke on April 23, 2016.

Jerry was born on November 30, 1940, in Mayville to LeRoy and Ethel (Morse) Brown. He graduated from Mayville High School in 1959.

He Married Charlotte TerBush on February 9, 1963, in Elgin, IL. Jerry worked for General Motors for thirty-eight years and retired in 1998, he then moved to a forty acre farm that his aunt and uncle owned. He loved to farm, hunt and chase squirrels with Ruby his special friend a chocolate lab. Jerry was a member of the Mayville Eagles and attended township meeting regularly.

Jerry is survived by his wife Charlotte and four college educated daughters: Cheryl (Mike) Workman of Oxford, MI, Deanna (Dan) Coulter of Imlay City, MI., Melissa (Brandon) Weatherford of Clawson, MI. and Jennifer (Aaron) Orkisz of Davison, MI. Eleven grandchildren, 2 step grandsons, and 2 great-grandchildren, and sister Rita (Clare) Fryers of Mayville, MI. Jerry dearly loved the grandkids and to take them fishing. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and sister Colleen Brown.
