GENEVA ESTELLE LARGENT, 78, of Marlow, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2006, in Duncan.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 6, 2006, at the First Assembly of God in Lindsay, with Rev. Elmer Whitehead officiating.
Burial will be in the Greenhill Cemetery, under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Estelle was born Saturday, November 5, 1927 in Marlow, Oklahoma, to the late James Raymond and the late Iressie Evelyn Fowler Niblett. Estelle graduated from Marlow High School in 1947. She married Horace Greeley Largent on April 2, 1958 in Stephens County, Oklahoma. She lived in the Marlow and Lindsay area all of her life. Estelle retired as a nurse's aid for the Maysville Nursing Home. She enjoyed gardening, farming, making pot holders and riding horses. Estelle attended the Lindsay First Assembly of God.
Survivors include her husband, Horace G. Largent of the home; two sons, Myron, McGee, Okla., and Donald R. Largent and wife Patsy of Enid, Okla.; two daughters, Bernice Shipman and husband Pat of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, and Ginny Scurlock and husband Joe of Moore, Okla.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Wickens and husband Don of Lawton, Okla.; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Oneal Largent, and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Chris Largent, Scott Largent, Matthew Connelly, David Connelly, Hunter Thompson and Jimmy Largent.
