L.J. Reed received a telegram Monday from Dr. Hooper, president of the insane asylum at Little Rock, conveying the sad intelligence of the death of C.B. Keicher, which occurred Sunday night at 9 o'clock. The cause of death was congestion of the lungs. His illness was first noticed while at supper Sunday evening when his breathing became labored. He was rational and told the attendants he was going to die. The remains were interred at Little Rock. Mr. Keicher had been an inmate of the asylum but a few days. The deceased was born in Madison County, Indiana and was 32 years of age. He was a brother of Mrs. L.J. Reed and had many friends. Peace to his memory.
