Simeon was born Dec 21, 1882 in Phoenixville, Pa to William Henry Ollis and Anna Catherine Schell. His father, William Ollis, passed away when he was a young boy at the age of 6.

On May 23, 1902, at the age of 19, Simeon entered the PA National Guard. He was discharged for an unknown reason on May 27, 1903. He reenlisted as a Private on July 9, 1903. He was Honorably Discharged on Feb 16, 1904.

During the year 1903, he married his first wife, Mary Thompson. The couple had 3 children: Mabel Elizabeth Ollis, Charlotte Katherine Ollis, and Mary Ollis. In May 1909, Simeon and Mary separated. A month later, young Mary, passed away in June 1909 at one year of age. The death was due to an issue involving her lungs. Simeon had been working as a Fireman at the time.

In 1910, while working as an Engineer for the railroad, Simeon fell from the cab of his train leaving it unmanned. He was badly injured from the fall.

In 1911, he was granted a divorce, A. Vinculo Matrimonii, from Mary Thompson.

Between 1911 and 1918, he married Agnes Lahrochar. Agnes had one son, Robert Clarence Test, by her first marriage. Robert must have changed his name to his mother's maiden name at some point; as his death record lists him with the last name of Lahrochar. Simeon and Agnes had 7 known children: Dorothy Lidie, Simeon Frederick, George Henry (Harry), John James, Earl Norman, Charles Lindy, and Margaret J (Mary). The family resided in Gloucester City and Camden.

Simeon held many jobs over the years in order to provide for his family. He had been listed as a Toy Maker, Oyster, Blower, Laborer, and Chipper. When he applied for social security on Nov 30, 1936, he was working for Standard Tank and Seat Company located on Front St. in Camden, NJ.

Simeon passed away in 1956 at the age of 74.
