Son of Egbert Barrows Sanders and Edith (Merrill) Sanders. He first married Anna Marie Price, Oct. 31, 1917, in Jackson Co., Missouri. He and Anna are seen in the 1930 census in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri. They have two daughters, 10-year old Virginia and 5-year old Marjorie.

In the 1940 census in Cleveland Heights, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, Egbert is married to Ruth Brady.

Note: his ex-wife, Anna Marie Price Sanders, born July 22, 1896 in Auburn, Kansas; died May 15, 1989 in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

Note: his ex-wife, Ruth Brady-Sanders, born Oct. 21, 1895, died at the age of 105, Jan. 18, 2001 in Piqua, Ohio. Ruth was the daughter of Aquilla and Kate (Grimm) Brady.
