Mrs. Daisy Lundy, 84, widow of Henry Lundy and formerly of 160 Bradley died yesterday in a local nursing home where she had been a patient the past year. She was born March 13, 1881, at Chesaning, daughter of Jacob and Mary (Rich) Haist, and had been a Battle Creek resident for 10 years, coming here from Midland.
Her first marriage in 1900 to George Blanchard ended in divorce in 1922. She and Mr. Lundy were married in 1923 at Owosso. He died in 1928.
Surviving are five children from her first marriage, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Perry of 205 Betterly Road, Mrs. Arthur (Irene) Yankle of Owosso Mrs. Vance (Doris) Newlin of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Clifford (Mary) Rhyne of Anderson, Calif, and Claude W. Blanchard of Midland; a daughter from her second marriage Mrs. Harry (Virgilene) Frantz of Midland, 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lundy was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.
