MISS EUGENIA BROOKENS (COL) WEDS VANDALIA MAN
Miss Eugenia Brookens and Mr. Frank Wright of Vandalia were married at the colored Baptist Church on Saturday evening Sept. 30 at seven o'clock. They left immediately after the ceremony for Vandalia where they will make their home.

Miss Eugenia is the oldest daughter of Gene Brookens and is one of Martinsburg's most highly respected young colored girls. The Monitor extends congratulations.

Ganaway Twin Dies
The two months old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ganaway (Col.) died last week at the home of his parents in Wellsville, following a brief illness. His twin sister, who has also been ill, is reported much improved. The baby's mother is the former Eugenia Brookins of Martinsburg. The Monitor extends sympathy to the bereaved parents.
