John C Faherty, son of Matthew Faherty and Margaret Dougherty, was a native of Philadelphia. He married Jane "Jennie" Meade, daughter of John Meade and Annie Heron, in Philadelphia in 1904. John was widowed in 1918. His second marriage was to Kathryn Johnson, daughter of Charles E and Ellen Johnson, in 1920. John died at the age of 55 and was interred in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on 11 Aug 1934. Both wives were buried elsewhere, Holy Cross Cemetery.
