Robert Dean Bowman, 45, passed away Friday, November 25, 2005, in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
Robert was known by all his family and friends as Jeffrey or Jeff Bowman.
He was born November 7, 1960, in Frenchburg, KY., Son of Phyllis Little of Hope, KY. survive by his mother and stepfather Ed Walters of Hope, Ky. His wife Karen (Baxter) Bowman, whom he married on Nov. 24, 2003. Other survivors include stepchildren, Joseph Lawson of Whiteland and Rachel Lawson of Flat Rock; three granddaughters, Whitley Thomas, Kailee Lawson and Karlee Lawson; a sister, Theresa Northern of Richmond, KY.; two brothers, Darrell Bowman of Owingsville, Ky., and Keith Bowman of Salt Lick, Ky.; two stepbrothers; three stepsisters; paternal grandparents, Buford and Annis Bowman of Pomeroyton, Ky.; and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Earl and Cora Cooley Little.
graduated from Bath County High school Owingsville, Kentucky.
Robert was a self-employed truck driver, owning and operating his own semi.
Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
