She was a graduate of Stem High School and for many years she was self-employed as a beautician.
Mrs. Harris was a longtime member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was active in the Ann Jackson Sunday School Class, the fellowship club and the WMU.
Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Vester Harris, and her son, Grady Vester Harris Jr. She is survived by her grandson, Grady Scott Harris and wife, Amy, of Topeka, Kan., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 17, at 2 p.m. from Parkview Baptist Church. The Rev. Al Sholar and the Rev. Jack Casey will preside. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
