Early Life: Eleanor was born August *28, 1948, in Camiling, Tarlac, Phillipines, to James and Felisa F. Tabarangao, eventually immigrating to San Pedro, California. She played volleyball and the piano in high school while doting on her little brother, Robert.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Eleanor fell in love with a diesel submariner named Hal Brown. Together, they raised four boys: Terry, Hal, Paul and Gary. She couldn't help but make lifelong friends at work and soul sisters in her various LDS Church callings in Harbor Ward in California, as well as Quail Hollow Ward in Utah. After beating a serious medical condition over the last 30 years of her life, she moved on to the next phase of her service with 16 grandkids and two great-grandchildren to remember her. Her honorary pallbearers stand at 40 because her family couldn't possibly make the group any smaller. At the bottom of every empty pot of Eleanor's fried rice, could be found a happy husband, future missionaries, growing grandbabies and neighborhood youth she'd gather in as her very own. Eleanor Tabarangao Brown passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 9, 2016, but her ingredients for love and life live on.
Services: Quail Hollow LDS Ward
Final Rest: Spanish Fork City Cemetery
