Elizabeth was the daughter of George Wightman and Elizabeth Updike of North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She married c. 1687 Alexander Huling, the son of James and Margaret Huling of Newport, RI. Elizabeth and Alexander had seven known children together. The administration of Elizabeth's estate was granted to her grandson Alexander Huling on 12 Jan 1756, but when he refused, it was given to Thomas Havens.
The burial location for Elizabeth has not been determined, but it is not unlikely that she is buried beside her husband, though no permanent marker appears to have been erected for her.
