MRS. GEORGE A. VANZANT
Mrs. George A. VanZant, age 58, died Saturday night at 9 o'clock at the home at 218 South Twenty-first street, after being an invalid for several years. Mrs. VanZant was a native of Henry county, having been born east of the city. Her maiden name was Carrie Abbott, Abe and Will Abbott of this city being brothers. Another brother, Andrew, lives at Ashland, Neb., Mrs. John Speakman of Lawnsdale, Cal., Mrs. Catherine Stover of Hartford City and Mrs. Sarah Newcomer, Lewisville, are sisters. In addition, Mrs. VanZant is survived by her husband and two sons: Harley and Claude L. VanZant.
The funeral will occur Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home and will be private. The services will be in charge of Rev. O. A. Trabue of the M. E. church. Friends desiring to view the remains may do so until noon Tuesday.
