Neil moved with his family to Boynton Beach in 1990 and became a client of the Palm Beach Habilitation Center, most recently attending their STARS program. He participated in Special Olympics both in N. J. and in Palm Beach County. Neil loved music, singing, dancing, performing, bowling, swimming, trips and dining out with family.
He also leaves his brother, Chad V. Bannan, Ocean Township, N.J., his sister, Lynn C. Pilato and brother-in-law, Michael J. Pilato, of Boynton Beach, Aunt and Uncle, Martha and Alan Truesdell of Griggstown, N. J. and many cousins.
Visitation hours will be held on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 2PM to 5PM at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave. (N. Fed Hwy), Delray Beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 10AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St Mark Place (NE 4th Ave.), Boynton Beach, FL with interment to follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach.
His family would like to thank the personnel of the Palm Beach Habilitation Center, especially the staff and his personal caregivers at the Group Home, for everything they have done for Neil.
