The many friends of Mr. Andrew O. Anderson were pained to learn of his death which occurred yesterday at 1 p.m. at the family home, No. 16 Porter street.
Mr. Anderson was a highly respected citizen of the First ward, he having been born in this city seventy one years ago. For over forty years he was employed at Goble's dry dock as a ship carpenter and was well known to many captains and vesselmen along the chain of lakes.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, three sons; Mr. A. O. Anderson Jr., Louis and Ralph Anderson, by two daughters, Mrs. N.E. Bocco and Miss Florence Anderson, all of this city; also by three sisters, Mrs. Charles Miller of this city, Mrs. M. E. Fournier of Syracuse and Mrs. Andrew DeCharm of Milwaukee, Wis.
Mr. Anderson was a life long member of St. Louis' church from which the funeral service will be held Thursday. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the family in their bereavement.

The funeral of Andrew O. Anderson was held from his late home, No. 16 Porter street at nine o'clock this morning and from St. Louis' church at 9:30 o'clock.
Burial was in St. peter's cemetery.
