Ruth Alma Walker 84, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at her home in Moore. She was born on December 23, 1931 in Kingston to the late Jesse James Jackson and Rachel Delcenia Morrison Jackson. Ruth was raised in the Kingston where she graduated from the Kingston High School in 1950. She married Lloyd Odell Walker on December 19, 1950 in Lewisville, Texas and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1992. Ruth moved to Moore where she worked as a bookkeeper for a short time before going to work as a cook at the Moore public schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Moore and she enjoyed shopping, being with her family and cooking.
